It's easy to know what you get when you have a show with the title Broadway Bound; tons of amazing singing, reams of spectacular dancing and a desk full of needlessly overpriced headshots. Our show started out with a vibrant rendition of "In the Heights", sung by playwright Quiara Hudes herself. Unfortunately, Michael Bridenstine forgot to change out of my shiny red unitard from last year's show and started a series of disastrous appearances in tuxedo and American flag onezies. That aside, many songs were sung, dances were danced and tangos were tung. A husband and wife sang terribly (well, she did, but it was funny), Andrew Neuman was Mr. Suave and opera cats ate people's faces. A new tradition started with this show, the Annual Jay and Michael Dance Off, and Chris Jennings and Jay Douglas sang their hearts out to end this amazing theatrical production. It may not get to Broadway anytime soon, but it sure got to us!
