It was time to get historical, as well as hysterical and hilarious, with the ninth School-A-Palooza show The Declaration of IndeFUNdence. The show opened with the hot Off-Off-Off-Slightly-Off-Their-Rocker Broadway historical musical smash "Whipple", where five “funding” fathers danced in black unitards to the revolutionary classic hip-hop show “Sign It!” Great music followed in the form of Daniel Levy’s call back sing-a-long “Best Day of My Life”, and we saw our first Mom Hawaiian dance line, a Lin-Manuel Miranda puppet, Donald Trump visit and the 2nd Annual School-A-Palooza Dance Off. The SAP Super Band with Chris Jennings and others brought the night to a rocking close, making this show certainly one for the history books.
